Nissan does not Alter Price on Rogue Crossover


Nissan reveals that the price tag for the 2015 Rogue SUV models will remain unchanged compared to the 2014 models. The latest model will feature some minor changes, yet the Japanese automaker has announced that the price will not be affected. The crossover’s price will continue to range from $23,650 for the base model to $30,490 for the high-end SL that is equipped with all-wheel-drive. This model was completely redesigned for 2014, however, new for 2015 is the eco mode that has been added to the Xtronic Automatic transmission, heated cloth seats, and a new color called Artic Blue Metallic. Nissan Loses Andy Palmer to Aston Martin

The British-born engineer, manager, and businessman with over 35 years of automotive experience, has recently announced that he has accepted an offering from Aston Martin that will drastically change his title. Palmer has been appointed as Aston Martin’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company in its next phase. A statement from the shareholder board of Aston Martin said, “We’re delighted that Andy will join us as our new CEO at this important time at Aston Martin. Nissan Reports Tremendous Increase in LEAF Range


Nissan is preparing to debut the second generation of the Nissan LEAF, electric vehicle, and planning to debut the new model in 2016. Nissan reports that the new LEAF will use new battery technology for an increased driving range. The new model will also adopt a new traditional hatchback exterior design. The current model is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack for an EPA-estimated range of 84 miles on a full charge – the new redesigned LEAF will use a new battery with greater energy density that will have a range that could be as high as 180 miles on one single charge.
