Nissan Stuntman Driver Breaks World Record Again

Nissan 2 two wheel miles

Stuntman, Terry Grant, has broken his own world record for the fastest mile traveled on two wheels in a four-wheeled vehicle and he managed to do it in a Nissan JUKE, the NISMO RS. Although Grant had six attempts at traveling thorugh the famous Goodwood hillclimb course to beat the record, he was able to break his record on the first try. “I was shocked at how much faster the JUKE NISMO RS was, and to take 45 seconds off what was already a quick time, was unbelievable,” said Grant. To break it by so much on my first attempt was a great way to kick off the weekend, and I’m looking forward to seeing if I can go faster.” If you would like to read the full article please click on the link below:

Nissan Aims to Attract Younger Audience with New Maxima Model

Nissan 2 attracts new audience with new model

Nissan has recently launched its eighth-generation Maxima, which was redesigned for 2016 – the racier exterior styling, with a floating roof and beltline, an enlarged front grill and a fastback rear design. Nissan claims that the new Maxima will re-emphasize the “4-door sports car” – the car is now 79 pounds lighter and sits on a more rigid chassis. Pierre Loing, Nissan North America product planning Chief, said: “This is where we will be different. The large segment has been an aging demographic, and sales are falling for the segment as a whole. We see the look and performance of the Maxima as a way to appeal to younger customers who want a larger sedan.” If you would like to read the full article please click on the link below: http://www.autonews.com/article/20150604/OEM04/150609924/nissan-banks-on-racier-maxima-to-draw-younger-buyers
