Nissan Planning Dynamic Redesign

Nissan is planning a design refresh for the 2016 and 2017 Nissan Sentra model that will still not include a hatchback model. Nissan announced that it will keep the model sporty and will equip it with a more expressive appearance, similar to that of the new Nissan Pulsar hatchback. Additionally, the Nissan Pulsar will head to the U.S. in its current form – this can be found as a little bit of a surprise since the United States market appears to be developing more of an appetite for hatchbacks. According to Nissan’s Design Chief and Senior Vice President Shiro Nakamura, Nissan will offer mid-cycle refreshes for both the Altima and the Sentra. Nissan LEAF behind Reverse Graffiti Movement

Reverse graffiti is a new art form that swaps the use of traditional paints most commonly used to graffiti on city walls with a power washer. This art form was pioneered by an artist known as Moose, who uses a power washer, powered by his Nissan LEAF to wipe away layers of dirt and grime to create beautiful and natural works of art. The Nissan LEAF is used by Moose to energize his power washer; this allows Moose to create murals emission free and considering his message, that is the way he plans to keep it. Nissan to Continue Moving Forward with EV Battery Production

Nissan Kicks Concept Reveal
Nissan is disregarding recent speculations claiming that the Japanese automaker intends to slow down its electric vehicle battery production by continuing to offer “No Charge to Charge” promotion. Recently, information regarding Nissan’s future plans with their assembly facility in Tennessee have circulated the internet; however, a Nissan spokesperson, Travis Parman, cleared the confusion by commenting, “The Renault-Nissan Alliance remains 100% committed to its industry-leading EV program.” Parman backed up his claim by noting that the Nissan LEAF has been the best-selling electric vehicle in the United States for the last 18 consecutive months, it would be ridiculous to slow down its production. Nissan LEAF Sets New World Record

In the midst of America’s National Drive Electric Week, the state of California was witness to the world’s largest-ever parade of electric vehicles; with 507 cars in one place, the meet up is considered to have shattered previous records. Nissan claims that the majority of the electric vehicles at the event were Nissan LEAFs and as a sponsor for National Drive Electric Week this year, Nissan revealed that electric vehicle sales are on the rise and the trend is expected to continue. Toby Perry, Director of Nissan EV Marketing, said: “We are currently at around 61,000 sales in the United States since the launch of LEAF four years ago.
