Nissan recently announced that the Tennessee auto manufacturing sector plans to bring 1,000 new jobs to Smyrna as part of a $160 million expansion. The automaker plans to build a new supplier park at its auto assembly plant in Tennessee. The new project will be up to 1.5 million square feet and should be completed in 2017 – the company announced a similar supplier park at its Canton Mississippi facility in 2013. Gov.
