At the Beijing Motor Show earlier this
week, Nissan showcased their latest concept car for auto enthusiasts to
speculate over – the Nissan Lannia is a fastback sedan with a small rear end.
The exterior styling demonstrated to be quite popular and gained a lot of
attention in Beijing. “It was designed by Chinese, built by Chinese, for the
Chinese people, and ultimately for the world,” said Andy Palmer, Nissans’
Product Manager. Palmer further explained that it this design was influenced by
post 80’s trendsetters and is considered to be a sedan theory breaker –
meaning, Nissan plans to redefine the components that make up a sedan today.
Andy Palmer did not confirm that the concept car would actually make it onto
the sales floors across the world, but he didn’t rule it out completely, which
leads us to believe that this concept car might actually make it.
