Investment goals have shifted for Nissan since its recent plant expansion. Following a recent spree of opening factories, Nisan Motor Corp., will now channel their attention and investments into new products and technologies into electrified drivetrains, fuel cell technologies and autonomous drive systems and connected-car products. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan Motor Group, said: “Most of our investments are in products and technologies, now that most of the expansion of the company has been done. We were building a new plant in China. We were building a new plant in China. We were building a new plant in Brazil. We were building a new plant in Mexico. We were expanding the plant in Thailand.
